Alec’s subconscious objective in life always seemed to revolve around evoking emotion out of the people around him, with attempts to bring out happiness, nostalgia; whatever feeling one had buried, Alec was going to guide it out of the soul, and into reality. Today, that is still his objective.
From what started as merely child’s drawings, consisting of faux and imaginary film posters and video game cover art, lead to producing and composing music for film, to writing a memoir about his life experience with divorce; his ability to summon emotion is only procuring more vigor as time passes by.
No matter the material, means, or method, from memoir-esque books about divorce, to psychological horror and dystopian surrealism, Alec brings his entire heart, his experiences, and all of his memories into the mixture, adding an unmatched flavor one could only find with his distinctive work.
Alec has published both non-fiction and fiction, including the memoir A Brief Story of an Exceptional Divorce, as well as multiple short horror stories, including My Neighbor and Remnants of a Lost Angel. The upcoming Born of Black Bile, a new psychological horror trip from the mind of Alec drops January 10th, 2025.
On the musical side, he has released EPs and tracks for labels Columns of Knowledge and TRXX, while also working over the years as a (now washed up) DJ on the side. He has scored over half a dozen short films, including The Scarecrow, which premiered at CICADA: A Night of Pittsburgh Premieres in 2024, and Striges, which premiered at the Haunted Oaks Film Festival in 2018. Most recently, Alec scored the heartfelt, WWII documentary Fedeltà Soldier Prisoner, touching on Italian POWs. Fedeltà premiered in Chambersburg, PA, and screened in Milan and Rome. The film is currently available to watch on Amazon Prime.
